Workshops, Outreach Classes, Special Events & Parties
Interested in creative programming in your own home or venue? A wide variety of programs are available (for ages 3 and up) including:
- Themed parties
- Arts intensives

- Painting with watercolors, gouache, acrylics, or oils
- Drawing with a variety of dry mediums
- Collaging and mixed media

- Creative writing, journaling and poetry
- Altered books, photos, boxes, or other fun objects
Does your organization serve a marginalized community? Workshops for special communities are also available, custom-tailored to meet your interests, needs and budget! Some examples of creative opportunities recently offered:
* “Freeing Your Creative Spirit” parties and workshops
* Altered Book Making Workshops (Past participants include the Temple Writing Academy and Caring Heart Manor)




* Therapeutic Art Classes, including “Treasure Hunting” - a three-month program designed in conjunction with BuildaBridge, Inc. for children ages 8-17, living in a West Philadelphia shelter. This program offered participants the opportunity to create treasure boxes with self-portraits and painted canvas scrolls of people, places and things they treasure, rolled and saved within each box.
* “Peace and Hope” creative writing and collaging workshop – a program for adult Mental Health consumers from COMHAR, Inc., presented in the spirit of MLK Day and the Presidential Inauguration.

* “Collaborating with the Creator” – a monthly program at Frankford Friends Meeting, for children to explore their spirituality through creating art.
* “Peace Mobile” workshop – an MLK Day program developed for the Anti-Violence Partnership of Philadelphia, serving children who been affected by violence. The images below were taken by the Philadelphia Inquirer.
